Triggers
Start a workflow when something happens in solidtime.
- New time entryRuns when time is logged in solidtime or a timer is stopped, with the entry's project, client, task, tags, person and duration. Entries dated more than 7 days back when they're logged don't count.
- Timer startedRuns when someone starts a timer in solidtime, with what it's for: its description, project, client, task and tags.
Actions
Steps a workflow can run in solidtime.
- Start timerStart a timer for the connected user, such as when a ticket moves to In progress, with a description, project, task and tags. A timer already running is stopped first, as solidtime's Start button does.
- Stop timerStop the connected user's running timer, such as when a ticket is closed or a meeting ends. Nothing happens, and the step says so, when no timer is running.
- Get running timerSee whether the connected user has a timer running and, if so, what it's for and how long it has run.
- Create time entryLog time already worked, such as a meeting or a call from your calendar or phone system, with when it started, when it ended or how long it took, a description, project, task, tags and billable.
- Update time entryChange a time entry's description, project, task, tags, billable, start or end. Only the fields you fill in change; tags given replace its tags.
- Delete time entryDelete a time entry, such as one logged twice. It can't be restored.
- Find time entriesFind the time entries of a period, such as last week, by project, client, tag, person or billable, newest first, with the total time and what the billable time comes to.
- Summarize timeTotal the time tracked in a period by project, client, task, person, tag, day, week or month, and optionally by a second of these, with what the billable time comes to, for a weekly report or an invoice.
- Create projectCreate a project, such as when a deal is won, for a client (made if new), with a colour, billable rate and estimate.
- Update projectChange a project's name, client, colour, billable, rate, estimate or visibility, or archive it when the work is done. Only the fields you fill in change.
- Find projectsFind projects by name or client, with their rates, estimates and hours tracked so far.
- Delete projectDelete a project. solidtime refuses while it has tasks or time entries; archive it with Update project instead.
- Create clientAdd a client, such as a new customer from your CRM, to track projects and time for.
- Find clientsFind clients by name, such as to check one exists before creating it.
- Delete clientDelete a client. solidtime refuses while it has projects.
- Create taskAdd a task to a project, such as one per ticket or deliverable, with an estimate, so time can be tracked against it.
- Delete taskDelete a task. solidtime refuses while time is tracked on it.
- List tagsList the organization's tags with their IDs.
- Delete tagDelete a tag. solidtime refuses while time entries have it.
- List membersList the people in the organization with their emails, roles and member IDs.
