IP addresses

Lodol connects to your apps, databases and servers from one address. If yours only let in addresses you choose, add this one.

Every connection your workflows make leaves from this address, in every workspace.

When you need it

Most apps don’t ask for this. Add it where something only accepts connections from addresses you’ve listed, such as:

  • A database’s firewall or access list: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB Atlas or Snowflake.
  • A server you connect to over SSH or SFTP.
  • An API key that only works from certain addresses.
  • Your own website or API, when a workflow sends it a request.

When you connect an app that needs it, Lodol shows the address in the steps.

Lodol Local

Lodol Local runs on your own computer, so it connects from your network’s address instead. Its connect steps show which one that is.
