Triggers

Start a workflow when something happens in Fathom Analytics.

  • New siteRuns when a site is added to your Fathom account. Sites already there when the workflow is turned on don't start it.
  • New eventRuns when a site starts tracking an event it hasn't before, such as a new sign-up or purchase event. Events already there when the workflow is turned on don't start it.
  • Current visitors reach a numberRuns when the number of people on a site right now reaches the number you set, such as a traffic spike. It runs at most once an hour while traffic stays that high.
  • Traffic reaches a numberRuns once a day (or once an hour) when a site's visits or pageviews so far that day (or hour), in the site's time zone, reach the number you set.
  • New page visitedRuns when a page on a site gets visits for the first time since the workflow was turned on, such as a page you just published. Pages visited since the start of yesterday when it is turned on don't start it.
  • New referring siteRuns when visitors arrive from a site that hasn't sent any since the workflow was turned on, such as a new link to you. Sites that referred visitors since the start of yesterday when it is turned on don't start it.
  • Event completedRuns when an event, such as a sign-up or purchase, is completed. Fathom gives counts, not each completion, so several completions between two checks start one run.
