Quay

Read Red Hat's public container registry, quay.io: search and list public repositories, list and read their tags, see what an image is made of, its labels and its vulnerability scan, follow a repository's activity and builds, and run a workflow when a new tag is pushed.

Triggers

Start a workflow when something happens in Quay.

  • New tagTriggers once for each new tag pushed to a public repository on quay.io, such as a new release, optionally only tags whose name contains some text. Choose every push to also trigger when an existing tag, such as latest, is moved to a new image. Tags already there when you turn it on never trigger it.

Actions

Steps a workflow can run in Quay.

  • Search repositoriesSearch quay.io's public container image repositories by words, best match first, ten a page. Each comes with its description, stars and how active it was over the last week.
  • List repositoriesList the public repositories of an organization or user on quay.io, up to 100 a page, with each one's description, last push and activity over the last week.
  • Get repositoryGet a public repository's details: its description, whether an organization or a user owns it, its state, how long deleted tags can be restored, and the image to pull.
  • Get repository activityGet how many pulls, pushes and other actions a public repository had each day over about the last 90 days, with the total, the daily average, the last 7 days and the busiest day.
  • List tagsList a repository's tags, most recently pushed first, each with the digest it points at, its size, whether it is multi-platform and when it was pushed. Filter by part of the name, and include deleted and moved tags if you want their history.
  • Get tagGet one tag: the digest of the image it points at, its size, when it was pushed, and the images it pointed at before. Fails when the repository has no such tag.
  • Get image manifestRead what an image is made of. A multi-platform image lists the platforms it was built for; a single image, or one platform's, lists its build steps and layers with their sizes.
  • Get image labelsList the labels an image carries, such as its version, source code, licence and build date, optionally only those whose name starts with some text.
  • Get vulnerability scanGet Quay's security scan of an image: how many known vulnerabilities it has of each severity and how many can be fixed, with each vulnerability, the package it is in and the version that fixes it, most severe first.
  • List buildsList the image builds Quay ran for a public repository, most recent first: when each started, how it ended, the tags it was to push and what started it.
