eBay

E-Commerce

Run an eBay seller account from a workflow: define the products you stock, turn them into listings on any eBay marketplace, publish and withdraw those listings, track the orders they produce, and read the business policies and selling limits your account operates under. Works with your own eBay seller account through eBay's Sell APIs.

Steps your workflow can run in eBay.

List inventory itemsThe SKUs defined on your seller account, each with its product details, condition and available quantity. An inventory item is the product record behind a listing, so this is your catalogue as eBay holds it - paged, so you can walk a large one.
Get inventory itemRead one inventory item by its SKU: title, description, brand and MPN, images, condition, available quantity, and package weight and dimensions.
Create or replace inventory itemDefine the product behind a listing: title, description, condition, quantity, images, brand and MPN. Keyed by your own SKU, so running it again with the same SKU replaces that item rather than creating a second one. eBay needs at least one image before the listing can go live.
Delete inventory itemDelete an inventory item and any unpublished offers made against it. A published listing must be withdrawn first.
Update price and quantityChange a SKU's available quantity, an offer's price, or both at once. Price lives on the offer rather than the product, so changing one needs the offer's ID - the action says so rather than silently updating nothing.
List offers for a SKUEvery offer defined against one SKU. An offer is a SKU priced for one marketplace, so a product sold in several countries has one offer each, and this is how you find their IDs.
Get offerRead one offer by its ID: marketplace, category, format, price, quantity, the location it ships from, the business policies it applies, and the listing ID once it is published.
Create offerPrice a SKU for one eBay marketplace: category, price, quantity, the location it ships from, and the shipping, payment and return policies it sells under. The offer is created unpublished, so nothing is live until you publish it.
Update offerChange an offer's price, quantity or description. eBay's own update replaces an offer wholesale, so this reads the current one first and merges your changes in - changing a price cannot quietly drop the category or the business policies.
Publish offerPublish an offer, creating the live eBay listing and returning its listing ID. eBay reports a failed publish with a success status and no listing, so this treats a missing listing ID as the failure it is rather than reporting a listing that does not exist.
Withdraw offerEnd the live listing for an offer. The offer itself survives with its pricing and settings intact, so it can be published again later.
Delete offerDelete an offer for good. Withdraw it first if it is currently published.
Get listing feesWhat eBay would charge to publish an unpublished offer, itemised by fee type. Worth checking before publishing a batch.
List inventory locationsThe warehouses and stores you ship from, each with its key, name, status and address. Every published offer has to name one.
Create inventory locationAdd a location to ship from, keyed by a name you choose, with its country and as much of the address as you have. An offer cannot be published until the account has at least one.
Delete inventory locationDelete an inventory location.
List ordersOrders placed with your seller account, optionally narrowed to active, completed or cancelled ones. Returns each order with its buyer, totals, line items and shipping address, newest first.
Get orderRead one order in full: payment and fulfillment status, every total and tax line, the buyer, each line item with its SKU and quantity, and the address it ships to.
List shipments for an orderThe shipments recorded against an order, with their tracking numbers, carriers and dispatch dates, and which line items each one covered.
List business policiesYour shipping, payment or return policies for one marketplace, each with the ID an offer references it by. eBay scopes policies per marketplace, so ask for the one you are listing on.
