How it works
What happens on each run, in plain English.
Every Monday at 07:00 the workflow reads the whole 'Revenue' tab of your spreadsheet and sorts its rows into two weeks by date: the most recent complete Monday-to-Sunday week, and the one before it. It totals each week, works out the change and the percentage, and the AI writes a short note. When revenue is up, the note explains the rise from the rows: which days and entries contributed most and whether it came from a few large entries or many small ones. When it is down or flat, the note reports the numbers and does not guess at causes.
The email's subject says which way revenue went and by how much, and the numbers the note was written from sit underneath it, along with a count of any rows whose date or amount could not be read. If neither week has rows you are told so, since that usually means the sheet has stopped being filled; if the note cannot be written the numbers are sent alone. Nothing in the sheet is changed.
You need a spreadsheet with a tab holding a date column and an amount column, one row per sale.
