How it works

Give a candidate your bot and a booking code and they can see when you are free and take a slot, without the four emails it usually takes.
A message that is just the code comes back with the weekday times you are actually free, worked out from your calendar rather than from a list someone keeps by hand. A message in the shape CODE | date | time | name | email books that slot: the workflow re-checks the calendar at the moment of booking, creates the event with the candidate's name in the title and their address as a guest, and confirms in the chat.
Four things it will not do. It ignores, in silence, every message that does not begin with your code, so the bot can sit in a chat without answering everything said in it. It only books the clock times listed in 'interviewTimes' and only on weekdays inside the window in 'daysToLookAhead', so nothing lands at 3am, on a Sunday, or in a month you have not thought about yet. It refuses a booking without a real name and a valid email address. And it re-checks the slot before booking, so two candidates reading the same list cannot take the same time.
One thing to know about Telegram: with no chat id set, the trigger fires on messages from every chat the bot is in. That is deliberate here - it is how any candidate can talk to it - and your booking code is what keeps the calendar closed. Treat the code as a password, and change it between roles.
Set it up by filling in 'bookingCode' and 'interviewTimeZone'. The interview times, the length, how far ahead to look, how many options to offer, the calendar and the event title are all plain settings at the top.
