How it works
Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.
Each day this workflow reads your applicants sheet and, for each application, writes a short set of notes against the role brief you provide: what lines up, what the application does not evidence either way, and two questions worth asking. The notes go to their own tab for whoever is doing the reading.
It does not decide anything and is explicitly instructed not to. It will not recommend hiring, rejecting or ranking anyone - that is a person's job, after reading the application themselves. The value here is in arriving at that reading already knowing what to ask, not in having the pile sorted for you.
It is also instructed to write only about what the application says, to say a thing is not evidenced rather than inferring it, and to ignore anything unrelated to doing the work - age, gender, ethnicity, nationality, names, photographs, family status, health.
Notes are appended to a separate tab, never written back over the applications themselves, and each row carries the source row number so a note can be traced to the application it came from. A fixed number of applications is read per run so a sudden flood costs one day's budget rather than all of it.
The applicants tab is expected to have Name, Email and Background columns. To set it up, paste the spreadsheet URL and describe the role.
