NOAA National Data Buoy Center
Read live marine weather from NOAA's National Data Buoy Center: the wind, waves, air pressure and air and sea temperature reported by about 1,300 buoys, coastal stations and offshore platforms run by NOAA and its partners, most of them around the US.

- NOAA Buoy Reading Crosses a ThresholdRuns when a buoy or coastal station's reading, such as wave height or wind speed, rises above or falls below a threshold, once per crossing
Actions
Steps a workflow can run in NOAA National Data Buoy Center.
- Find stationsFind NDBC's active buoys, coastal stations and platforms by name, ID or owner, by type or program, or around a place, nearest first. Each comes with its ID for the other steps, its position, who runs it and whether it is reporting weather now.
- Get a station's latest observationGet a station's latest readings: wind speed, direction and gusts, wave height, period and direction, air pressure, air and sea temperature, in metric and US units, with how many minutes old they are and a one-line summary. Buoys measure waves every 30 or 60 minutes, so the waves carry their own time.
- Get a station's recent observationsGet a station's wind, wave, pressure and temperature readings over the last hours, up to 45 days, newest first, with the readings that had the highest waves, the strongest wind and gust and the lowest pressure. Most stations report every 10 to 60 minutes.
- Get a station's wave summaryGet a buoy's wave readings over the last hours, up to 45 days, newest first: the wave height split into swell (from far away) and wind waves (from the local wind), each with its height, period and direction, and how steep the waves are. Coastal stations and many buoys don't measure waves.
- Get latest observations near a pointGet the newest reading, from the last two hours, of every station within a distance of a point, nearest first: a quick look at the wind and sea around a harbour or a stretch of coast. A buoy's newest reading can be wind only when it measured its waves a few minutes earlier; 'Get a station's latest observation' has both.
