Steps a workflow can run in moogleAPI.

  • List gamesList the Final Fantasy games moogleAPI covers, from the first Final Fantasy to Final Fantasy XVI with X-2 and XIII-2, in order of release, a page at a time: each with its ID, release year, platform and logo. Get game adds how many characters and monsters the service holds for one.
  • Get gameGet one Final Fantasy game by its number, name or ID, typed any way (VII, FF7, Final Fantasy VII, X-2): its release year, platform, logo and emblem, and how many characters and monsters the service holds for it. A game it does not cover fails, naming the ones it does.
  • List charactersList the characters of one Final Fantasy game or of every game, a page at a time in order of name with the real total: each with their role, affiliation, race, hometown, abilities, art and popularity. Narrow to the popular ones or to those with a picture. Get character adds the description.
  • Get characterGet one Final Fantasy character by ID or by name, typed any way, with everything moogleAPI holds: a description, their role, affiliation, race, hometown and abilities, their art, their game and their popularity. A name is found through the service's search, within a game when one is given; a name several characters share fails naming them, and a name nobody has fails too.
  • Search charactersFind Final Fantasy characters with a word in their name or description, across every game or within one: the service's first 50 matches in order of name, each with their role, description, art and game. No match is an empty list, not a failure. Get character gives the rest of a match.
  • Get a random characterPick a Final Fantasy character at random, from every game or from one, optionally only among the popular ones or those with a picture, for a character of the day, a quiz or a prompt. The same seed always picks the same character, so a seed of the date gives one pick a day. Returns everything Get character does. Fails if no character matches the filters.
  • List monstersList the monsters of one Final Fantasy game or of every game, a page at a time in order of name with the real total: each with its category, where it is fought, its HP, level and battle stats, weaknesses, abilities, art and popularity. Narrow to the bosses or the ordinary enemies, the popular ones or those with a picture. Get monster adds the description, MP, experience, gil, evasion, drops and steals.
  • Get monsterGet one Final Fantasy monster by ID or by name, typed any way, with everything moogleAPI holds: a description, whether it is a boss, where it is fought, its HP, MP, level, experience and gil, its stats, weaknesses, abilities, drops and steals, its art, its game and its popularity. A name is found through the service's search, within a game when one is given; a name several monsters share fails naming them, and a name none has fails too.
  • Search monstersFind Final Fantasy monsters with a word in their name or description, across every game or within one, bosses or ordinary enemies or both: the service's first 50 matches in order of name, each with its description, location, HP, level, weaknesses, abilities and art. No match is an empty list, not a failure. Get monster gives the rest of a match.
