Steps a workflow can run in MapleStory.IO.
- List regions and versionsEvery game client MapleStory.IO has data for, from GMS to KMS, with every version of each, oldest first, and the newest, which is what latest means in the other actions. Use it to pin a version, or to notice when a new one has been added.
- Search itemsFind items by name or description and narrow them by inventory tab, category and sub-category, cash or regular, the level they need and who they are made for, a page at a time with the real total. Each comes with its id, which Get item and Render character take, and a link to its icon.
- Get itemOne item by its id: its name and description, tab and category, the level and job it needs, its price and stack size, what equipping it adds to every stat, the poses it has sprites for, and links to its icon. An id no item has fails saying so.
- List item categoriesEvery inventory tab, category and sub-category items are filed under, around 300 in all, each with the range of ids it covers: the values Search items narrows by, and a way to tell what kind of item an id is.
- Search mobsFind monsters by name and narrow them to a level range, a page at a time with the real total. Each comes with its id, which Get mob takes, whether it is a boss, and links to its icon and sprite. Read from the newest version with monster data, since the site's newest builds of some regions list mobs without it; the answer says which.
- Get mobOne monster by its id: its level, HP, MP and experience, attack and defense, speed, whether it is a boss and attacks on sight, the maps it spawns on, the poses it has sprites for, and links to its icon and sprite. An id no mob has fails saying so. Read from the newest version with monster data; the answer says which.
- Search NPCsFind NPCs by name, a page at a time with the real total. Each comes with its id, which Get NPC takes, and links to its icon and sprite.
- Get NPCOne NPC by its id: its name, every line it says, whether it runs a shop, the maps it stands on, the poses it has sprites for, and links to its icon and sprite. An id no NPC has fails saying so.
- Search mapsFind maps by name, a page at a time with the real total. Each comes with its id, which Get map takes, the area it is part of, and links to its marker and minimap.
- Get mapOne map by its id: its name and area, whether it is a town, the mobs that spawn on it and the NPCs standing on it, its portals and where each leads, its return map and music, its minimap's size, and links to its marker, minimap, music and a picture of the whole map. An id no map has fails saying so.
- Search petsFind pets by name, a page at a time with the real total, each with its id, which Get item reads in full, and a link to its sprite. Leave the search empty to page through every pet in the game.
- Render characterDraw a character wearing any items in any pose and get links to the picture, a PNG with a transparent background, and to the pose played as an animated GIF, ready to embed in a message, a page or a sheet. Choose the skin, the frame, elf ears, which way it faces, how large to draw it and a name tag. The picture is drawn once to check it, and its size reported; a pose the renderer does not know fails.
- Download character renderThe same picture Render character links to, fetched and stored as a document, for a step that needs the file rather than a link: an email attachment, an upload, a file posted into a chat. Answers with the document and the links beside it.
