Actions

Steps a workflow can run in DropMail.

  • Create an inboxMake a new disposable inbox with a random email address that receives real mail straight away. Use it to sign up for something or catch a confirmation email, then read what arrives with 'Wait for an email' or 'List emails'. DropMail deletes the inbox 10 minutes after it was last used.
  • Wait for an emailPause until an email is in the inbox, then give it in full, links included. Put it after the step that signs up or sends the email. If nothing arrives in time, the step finishes with Received set to no instead of failing.
  • List emailsGet the emails in an inbox, newest first and each in full: sender, subject, text, links and attachments. Up to the newest 100 are listed.
  • Get an inboxCheck an inbox: its addresses with their restore keys, how many emails it has received and when it will be deleted. Checking counts as use, so it also keeps the inbox open.
  • List inboxesGet every inbox this connection has open, with its addresses and email count, including ones whose Inbox ID was not kept.
  • Add an address to an inboxGive an inbox one more random email address, on a domain you choose or a random one. Mail to any of an inbox's addresses lands in the same inbox.
  • Remove an address from an inboxStop one of an inbox's addresses receiving mail. Emails it already received stay in the inbox. Keep the restore key it returns to bring the address back later.
  • Restore an addressBring back an address that was removed, or whose inbox was deleted, using the restore key DropMail gave with it. It receives mail again in the inbox you choose. Emails from before are not brought back, and the address gets a new restore key.
  • List domainsGet the domains (the part after the @) new addresses can use, and which of them DropMail will retire, and when.
