Steps a workflow can run in DEX Screener.

  • Search for poolsFind where a token trades by searching for its name, its symbol, a pair like SOL/USDC, or a contract address. Results come back deepest pool first rather than in DEX Screener's own relevance order, so the real token outranks the copies trading on a few dollars, and can be narrowed to one chain. Start here when all you have is a name.
  • Get a poolLook up one trading pool: its price in dollars and in the token it trades against, how far it has moved over five minutes, an hour, six hours and a day, what it holds, what changed hands, how many buys and sells there were, and how old the pool is. Paste the pool's dexscreener.com link and the chain is read from it.
  • Get token pricesPrice a list of tokens on one chain in a single request. Use this rather than one step per token: thirty tokens cost exactly what one does. Each token's price comes from its deepest pool, its liquidity and volume are added up across the pools it is the base token of, and any token DEX Screener has no pools for is listed separately rather than quietly left out.
  • List a token's poolsFind every pool one token trades in, deepest first, with each pool's exchange, price, liquidity, volume and age. Each pool says whether the token is its base or its quote side, because DEX Screener only ever reports the base token's price, so a token found only as a quote has no price of its own here, and says so.
  • List new token profilesSee the tokens whose teams have just published a profile on DEX Screener: the description, logo, banner and links they want people to see. Choose the newest profiles or the ones just edited, and narrow to one chain. The website, X account and Telegram are pulled out of the link list for you.
  • List boosted tokensSee which tokens are paying DEX Screener to be seen: either the boosts bought most recently or the tokens with the most boosts of all time. Both the boost just bought and the running total come back, because they are different numbers and the total is the one that says how hard a token is being promoted.
  • List community takeoversSee the tokens a community has taken over from the team that launched them, newest claim first, each with the description and links the new owners published and the day they claimed it.
  • List token adsSee which tokens are advertising on DEX Screener right now, what kind of placement each one bought, how long it runs for and how many times it has been shown.
  • Check a token's paid ordersSee what a token's team has paid DEX Screener for (a profile, a community takeover, an ad or a trending-bar slot) and whether each order was approved, is still processing, or was rejected. A token that has bought nothing comes back empty rather than as an error.
  • List trending metasSee which narratives money is moving into right now: the themes DEX Screener groups tokens under, each with what its tokens are worth together, how that has moved over five minutes, an hour, six hours and a day, and how many tokens are in it. Each one comes back with the slug 'Get a meta' takes.
  • Get a metaOpen one narrative and see the pools of the tokens in it, deepest first, alongside what the whole meta is worth and how far it has moved. Pick the meta from the list of what is trending, or use a slug 'List trending metas' returned.
