How it works

Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.

The whole first touch in one run: find the people at the companies you named, work out a work address for each one, check that address is real, write them an email and send it - with a record of every person contacted so nobody is contacted twice.

It only looks inside companies you list yourself in 'companyDomains'. A person the search returns at any other company is passed over, because a cold email to someone you never meant to target is worse than a smaller list.

No address is ever guessed. A candidate address is looked up, then checked against the mailbox itself, and only an address that comes back confirmed - a 'valid' result with a confident deliverability score, at the company's own domain - is written to. Anything else, including a plausible-looking pattern like first.last@company.com that the check cannot confirm, is passed over and noted in the run output. It is not sent to, and it is not saved.

The email itself is written per person from the few facts the search actually returned - name, job title, company - and the model is told those are the only facts it has. A draft that implies you have already spoken is discarded rather than sent. Your sign-off and your opt-out line are appended by the workflow, so no email can leave without a way to say no.

Every send is recorded before it is made, not after. A send cannot be recalled, so the only failure worth having is a recorded row that was never emailed - the other way round would email the same stranger twice on the next run.

'maxEmailsThisRun' starts at 1 so your first run finds one person and sends one email you can read. Raise it once you have. There is no schedule on this template on purpose: cold outreach should not run unattended. Sending commercial email is your responsibility - the consent you hold, the records you keep and the rules that apply where you and your recipients are - and this workflow does not check any of that for you.
