How it works
Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.
Add your bot to a Telegram chat, write 'price BTC', and it answers with what CoinMarketCap reports for that coin right now: price, one-hour and 24-hour change, market cap and market-cap rank, followed by two pieces of market-wide context - the Fear and Greed Index and Bitcoin's share of total market cap.
It reports figures and nothing else. There is no view on what a number means and no suggestion about what to do with it, because a workflow is not the right place to get either. Any figure the API does not return is named as unreported rather than shown as zero, so nothing in a reply is invented.
The keyword matters: the bot only answers messages that start with the word you set in the 'priceKeyword' step, so it stays quiet in a busy group instead of replying to everything. Fill that step in - 'price' works well - and nothing else is required. Replies go back to the chat the question came from.
Two limits worth knowing. Prices are in US dollars, which is fixed rather than a setting. And a symbol is only found if it is inside the top 300 cryptocurrencies by market cap; anything smaller gets a reply saying so. Raise the number in the 'coinsSearched' step to widen the search.
