Look up a drink from Telegram

Text a drink name to your Telegram chat - 'margarita' - and get back what TheCocktailDB holds for it: the category, the glass, its alcoholic classification, the ingredients with their measures in the order they go in, how to make it, and the drink's photo.

If nothing is called that, the same word is tried as an ingredient, so 'gin' answers with a drink made with gin rather than nothing at all. Either way the reply ends with the other drinks that matched, and a link to the drink's own page on TheCocktailDB, which asks to be credited as the source and linked to wherever its photos are shown.

Everything in a reply comes from the record that came back. Nothing is written by a model, so no ingredient, measure or method is ever invented - a field the record does not carry is left out rather than filled in. An ingredient row missing its name is skipped and the rest of the recipe still goes out. There is no advice about drinking in a reply, and none about whether or how much to drink: it reports a recipe and stops there.

To set it up, paste the ID of the chat to answer onto the trigger step. Left blank, the trigger fires for every message your bot receives in every chat it has been added to, so fill it in to keep the bot to one chat. 'alternativesToList' is how many other matching drinks to name under the recipe, from 1 to 20.

Two limits worth knowing. Instructions are sent in English: TheCocktailDB carries seven languages, but a workflow cannot read a field whose name it was given at run time, so the language is fixed rather than a setting. And the free key TheCocktailDB publishes returns a sample of the matches rather than all of them; a Premium key on the connection widens every search.
