How it works

Give it a CSV and it emails you back the same data as a real .xlsx workbook - the file itself, attached, ready to open in Excel, Numbers or Sheets.
Put the CSV into the 'csvSource' step either by uploading the file onto the step or by pasting an https link that downloads one. Anything else - a file name, a path on your own machine, a link that opens a page rather than a download - is turned away before anything is sent off.
The conversion is a straight change of format. Every value is carried across as it was written: no model reads the file, nothing is rounded, relabelled, reordered or left out. Because the values are carried across untouched, a cell that begins with '=' is still an '=' in the workbook, and Excel may read it as a formula when the file is opened.
Nothing is emailed unless a real workbook came back. If the converter fails, hands back a different format, or produces an empty file, the run stops and says which - you never get a message claiming a workbook that is not there. A conversion failure is reported with its reason but never with the address of your file, since a download link often carries the token that makes it work.
Fill in 'csvSource', 'excelFileName' and 'sendTo'. Nothing else is required.
