How it works
Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.
Send a few words to your Telegram chat - a lost mitten, a dragon who is scared of the dark - and get back a short bedtime story written for your child by name, with an illustration of one scene from it.
The story is written to be read aloud at the end of the day: short sentences, words a child of the age you set will know, and a calm ending. The instructions rule out anything frightening - no peril, no violence, no injury or illness, nobody lost or left alone, no unfriendly creatures and no sad ending - and rule out real people, real brands and real places.
The picture is drawn from a scene the story itself describes, hosted so Telegram can fetch it, and sent above the story. If any part of that fails the story is still sent as text - the workflow never sends Telegram an address it cannot check, so a run either shows a real picture or shows none.
To set it up, paste the ID of the chat to use onto the trigger step. Left blank, the trigger fires for every message your bot receives in any chat it has been added to, so fill it in to keep the stories to your own chat. Then fill in 'listenerName' with the child's name, since they appear in the story, and 'listenerAge' with their age in years, which sets the reading level.
This one uses an image generator and an image host as well as a writing model, so it needs a connection to each. Pictures are kept by the host for a week.
