How it works

Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.

Some pages give a plain fetch nothing worth having: the numbers are drawn on a canvas, the listing is assembled after the page loads, or the markup is a maze that no two pages share. This takes a full-page picture of each address you list - as a visitor would see it, with ads and cookie banners hidden - and reads the details you asked for off the picture itself, then adds one row per page to your Google Sheet.

Set up your tab's header row first, because the workflow cannot name your columns for you: 'Captured on', then 'Page', then your own field names in exactly the order you write them in the 'fieldsToRead' step, then 'Note'. Every run appends underneath; nothing already on the tab is edited or removed.

Every page you list gets exactly one row, including the ones that go wrong. An address that is not a web address, a page that could not be photographed, and a picture that carried none of your details each produce a row with the field cells left empty and the reason written in the 'Note' column - because an empty row that looks like a successful read is how a missing price becomes a decision.

Nothing is guessed. Only what is legible in the picture is written, so a detail the page does not show comes back as an empty cell rather than a plausible value.

'maxPages' stops a long list turning into a long bill; the pages past it are simply not looked at this run. Reading a picture is a smart action, so some runs pause for review in Lodol before they finish - that is deliberate, and the run continues once you resolve it.
