How it works

Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.

Routing a lead is not the same as somebody working it. The failure this catches is the one nobody has a dashboard for: leads correctly assigned, the CRM field updated, and forty of them sitting untouched for three weeks. A field update is not a person taking responsibility.

Every fifteen minutes this reads the ledger written by 'Inbound lead triage and routing' and does two things.

First, it chases anything routed but unclaimed. Past the SLA the assigned rep gets a nudge in Slack; still nothing and their manager hears about it; still nothing and the lead goes back to the pool for anyone to take. Each stage is stamped in the ledger as QUEUE_UNACCEPTED so you can count how often it happens, and the escalation clock keeps its own timestamp so a fifteen-minute sweep can never spam the same lead.

Second, it works the leads that were a good fit but had no urgency. Those follow the cadence from Velocify's study of roughly 3.5 million leads: five touches at days 0, 4, 8, 15 and 22, each one drafted against what the person originally said rather than a template. Timings are anchored to the original enquiry date, so a missed sweep does not shift the whole schedule. After the fifth touch the lead is marked exhausted and stops - a nurture list nobody ever leaves is a suppression list with extra steps.

Both ladders post to Slack for a human to send. Set replyMode to 'draft' to also put nurture messages in your Gmail drafts.

Install this alongside 'Inbound lead triage and routing' and give it the same spreadsheet URL and Slack channel. It writes to the Ledger tab that workflow creates and needs no other setup. On a quiet sweep it says nothing at all.
