How it works

Hiring is one of the few buying signals a company publishes about itself. Every Monday this workflow works down the accounts in your spreadsheet, searches the web for each one's hiring and careers pages, and appends a row to your signals tab: the date, the company, how many hiring pages the search returned, the titles of those pages exactly as they were listed, one example link, and the search it ran.
It reports a signal and stops there. It does not rate the account, decide whether it is worth a call, or tell you what the hiring means - those are conclusions a page count cannot support, and they are yours to draw. Nothing is written that the search did not return: no invented job title, no guessed company detail, and an empty field stays empty.
It also records nothing about individual people. Personal profiles, social posts and any title carrying an email address are dropped before anything is written, so the row is about the organisation and only the organisation.
Set it up by pasting your spreadsheet link, naming the tab holding your accounts (it needs a column headed Company) and naming an existing tab to record signals on. A row is appended every run, so the tab becomes a history of how each account's hiring activity moves. If a search fails, that company is skipped rather than recorded as a zero - a missing row means no search, not no hiring.
