How it works

Point this at any feed you follow - a release feed, a job board, a regulator's notices, a blog - and every six hours it fetches the feed, takes the newest items out of it, and creates one Trello card per item on the board and list you name. The card carries the item's own title and its link, and nothing else.
Two things keep it honest. Every title and link is checked back against the feed that was fetched: anything that does not appear there word for word is dropped and counted, so no card is ever made from an invented headline or a completed-looking link. And every item carded is written to a log tab in your spreadsheet, which the next run reads first - so an item is carded once and only once. If that log cannot be read the run stops without making any cards, because carding blind would recreate the whole feed every six hours.
The card is created before the log row is written. If a run dies between the two, the item may be carded again next time - repeating work rather than losing it.
Set it up with the feed address, the Trello board and list names exactly as they appear in Trello, and the spreadsheet holding the log tab (a tab with a column headed Link). If the feed cannot be reached, the run stops naming only the feed's host, never the full address you entered, in case it carries a key.
