How it works
Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.
Every Monday this reads your most recent uploads and, for each one, drafts a set of alternative titles, a fuller description and a list of tags. Everything lands in a new Google Doc, one section per video, with a link back to the video so you can compare the draft against what is live.
Nothing is published. YouTube only lets this workflow read your videos, so the document is a working draft - you copy whatever you want to keep into YouTube Studio yourself. A fresh document is created on every run, so no document you already use is ever cleared or overwritten.
Every suggestion is written from that video's own current title and description, and the model is told to invent nothing. A video with too little to go on is recorded as skipped rather than given a made-up title, and the drafted and skipped counts are written at the bottom of the document. One video that cannot be read is logged and skipped instead of ending the run.
Fill in your channel ID in the 'channelId' step. It starts with UC and is in YouTube Studio under Settings > Channel > Advanced settings. You can also change how many recent videos it reads ('videosToDraft'), how many title options it drafts for each ('titleOptionsPerVideo'), and describe who your channel is for in 'audienceNotes' so the drafts sound like you.
