How it works
Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.
Every hour this workflow reads the unread support mail matching a Gmail search you choose and writes a reply to each one, using a description of your business that you provide once.
Before anything reaches a customer it pauses and shows you the reply in full, along with who it would go to. Type 'send' and it goes immediately. Type anything else - or leave it unanswered - and it is saved as a Gmail draft instead, so nothing is ever lost and nothing is ever sent that a person did not approve.
Because each enquiry waits for you, the batch size is deliberately small. Anything the workflow cannot answer from the context you gave it becomes a short acknowledgement rather than an invented answer. Each handled message is labelled so the next run skips it, and one enquiry that fails is logged and skipped while the rest are still handled.
To set it up, fill in the Gmail search that finds your support mail and a short description of your business and tone.
