What it does

The integration steps this workflow runs, in the order it first runs them.

How it works

Everything the template sets up, and what to fill in before the first run.

Type the product you want to watch the way you would into a shopping search - 'stainless steel kettle 1.7l', 'ergonomic office chair mesh' - and this pulls the results apart into columns you can sort and chart: the product name, the price exactly as the seller listed it, that price as a number, who is selling it, the delivery terms, the star rating, the review count and the link.

No AI reads the page and no page is fetched. The shopping search already returns these as separate fields, so every cell is a value the search itself supplied. A field the seller did not publish is left empty rather than filled with a plausible guess - a result with no price gets empty price columns and is counted in the run summary, and a result with no product name at all is skipped and reported.

It appends, never overwrites. Each run stamps its own date in the Checked column, so leaving it on the weekly schedule builds a price history for the same search rather than replacing last week's figures. Prices are recorded as listed at the moment of the search and are not verified against the seller's own site.

Setup: 1. Connect Google Sheets and Serper. 2. Fill in 'searchQuery', 'spreadsheetUrl', 'sheetName' and 'countryCode' (the two-letter code for where you are shopping - us, gb, de). Prices come back in that country's currency. 3. 'maxProducts' is how many results one run may write; 20 by default, 100 at most.

The workflow writes its own header row - Checked, Search, Product, Price as listed, Price value, Seller, Delivery, Rating, Reviews, Link - into an empty tab. Run it once per search you want to track, each with its own tab.
