• V&A Object Added or ChangedTriggers when the V&A adds an object matching a search to its online collection or changes its record, with the object's title, maker, date, place, location and image links. The V&A publishes a day's changes the next day, and is checked every 3 hours

• Search objectsSearch the V&A's collection of over a million objects by words and by maker, material, technique, place, style, category, collection or object type, the years they were made, whether they have images, where they are on display and when their record changed. Each comes with its title, maker, date, place, where it is now, image links and its page on the V&A's website.
• Get objectRead one object's full record by its system number: its titles, descriptions, makers and their roles, dates, places, materials, techniques, categories, styles, measurements, marks and inscriptions, gallery label, where it is now and its images.
• List object imagesList every photograph of one object as image links at the size you choose, from a thumbnail to the largest the V&A has (up to 2,500 pixels), with each image's copyright, its IIIF address for other sizes and crops, and the object's IIIF manifest and viewer.
• Count objects byCount the objects a search matches per maker, person, organisation, object type, material, technique, place, style, category, collection, gallery, subject depicted, event or year acquired, most first. Each value comes with the V&A's id for it, which the matching filter of Search objects takes.
• Search archivesSearch the V&A's archive catalogue (theatre and performance, art and design archives and more) anywhere in a record, or by title, creator or reference code. Each record comes with its reference, level, date, extent and its page on the V&A's website.
