You can now share workflows, folders and files with just the teammates who need them, while runs, approvals and API keys follow the same access. New Files steps also let workflows read, zip, unzip and prepare documents and images on their own.

Improvements

Pro and Enterprise workspaces can now restrict access to folders, workflows, documents and apps, so only the members and roles you choose can see or edit them, and admins and owners keep a permission to reach everything.

Runs, Approvals, comments, audit history, the Developer API and AI tools now follow workflow access, so keys and connected agents only reach the items their member can see, and restricted workflows cannot be run, copied or referenced around their sharing.

Manage access is now available on folders and items, showing a Shared with list only when something is restricted and hiding roles that already reach everything, and the Usage breakdown no longer names workflows a member cannot see.

Workflows can now read files directly with the Files steps, opening CSV, TSV, Excel, PDF, Word, JSON, text and Markdown into rows or text, and creating CSV, Excel, text or JSON files from your data that keep sensible headers and file names.

Create a file can now make PDFs from Markdown or HTML, so workflows can turn invoices, quotes and reports into PDFs with a consistent layout, Unicode-friendly fonts and safe image loading from your own HTTP and file steps.

Files gains Unzip a file and Zip files steps, so workflows can unpack ZIP attachments into individual documents for processing and pack multiple files back into a single ZIP while keeping folder structure and clear names.

A new Edit an image step prepares photos for posts in one pass, letting workflows resize or crop to common post sizes, add text or logo watermarks, fix orientation, strip location data and save smaller JPG, PNG or WebP files.

Values, dates, lists and messages are now read the same way in every step, so checkboxes, list inputs, Split text, Format as text and other built-ins treat blanks, booleans, records and lists consistently across your workflows.

Saving a workflow now stops inputs and schedules that would behave unexpectedly at run time, catching unknown variables, invalid Repeat N times counts, unsupported schedule rules and mismatched Run a workflow inputs with clear suggestions.

Loops and Filter list steps now work together more predictably: new loops name their item after the list, filters inside a loop explain when they cannot see the loop item, and long messages with many fields save and run reliably.

Built-in steps now read numbers, dates, text and lists the way people write them, so amounts, percentages, currencies, holidays, phone numbers and date parts match your workspace’s time zone and country and give clearer errors when something cannot be read.

Wait and Wait until steps now set long waits aside without holding a worker, survive deploys, and show a Waiting until… status in Runs, while date and number pickers use dropdowns for time zones, countries, units and styles where possible.

Code steps now run only with full isolation, errors show just the lines you wrote, and API and AI-tool run details clearly mark which step failed and why.

Step errors across the app now use the same plain names you see in the builder, including the field and value that went wrong, and Format as text keeps your text, emoji and numbers as written with clearer style options.

New accounts now skip extra setup screens and go straight to choosing what you work on and starter workflows, while time zone, country and theme follow the browser and system by default so schedules and dates match what you see.

Signing up with Google now creates your account in one step and takes you straight into Lodol or back to the AI tool you were connecting, only asking extra questions when your profile is missing a name or you start from sign-in with an unknown address.

Signing up with email now signs you in as soon as you verify your address in that browser, with a simpler Check your email page that resends in one click, handles mistyped addresses and keeps the verification link working until it expires.

Connecting from the desktop window now returns you to the window even when you deny access on a consent screen, so saying no cleanly closes the loop instead of leaving you in a stray browser tab.

The builder guide now sets clearer hard rules for AI-built workflows, so Connect AI tools describe what they can and cannot do, show names instead of raw ids, avoid noisy inbox triggers and ground AI steps in real meeting and approver details.

The About page on the website has been rewritten as a single short story about Lodol and the team, with a unified team grid, clearer bios and links through to the principles and careers pages.

A dozen new integrations join Lodol, from Adobe Acrobat Sign, Azure Web Apps and AWS CloudFormation to Help Scout, Buffer and Zoho CRM. You can also manage member sessions more safely and see cleaner step cards in your runs.

New integrations

Adobe Acrobat Sign: send, track and manage agreements, library documents, users and webhooks.

Acumbamail: manage mailing lists, fields, segments, sign-up forms and email templates.

AWS CloudFormation: list and manage stacks, change sets, stack events, exports and drift detection.

Azure Web Apps: manage web apps, App Service plans, app settings, connection strings, site config and runtime stacks.

Buffer: read accounts and channels, schedule and edit posts, move items in the queue, and work with posting limits, ideas and tags.

Financial Modeling Prep: search companies and symbols, pull prices, fundamentals, analyst views, events, market data, news and filings.

Help Scout: work with mailboxes, conversations, customers and related help desk data from your workflows.

MapleStory Universe: look up wallets, characters, NFT items, marketplace listings, rewards and game metadata from Nexon’s MSU ecosystem.

MapleRoyals Library: search and look up equipment, items, maps, monsters, music, NPCs, quests and skills from the MapleRoyals reference.

moogleAPI: explore Final Fantasy games, characters and monsters, including searches, random picks and filtered lists.

XIVAPI: search Final Fantasy XIV game data, fetch items, sheets, rows, assets and maps, and save icons and maps as documents.

Zoho CRM: connect to Zoho CRM v8 over OAuth to work with leads, contacts, deals and other records reliably.

Improvements

Members with the new Sign out other members permission can now remotely sign teammates out from the Members page, and admins have this permission by default.

Run step cards no longer repeat the app name when a connection uses the same name, so runs are easier to scan.

Connect AI’s consent screen now always offers Delete workflows as an extra, unticked permission, so tools like Claude can request it explicitly when you choose to allow deletions.

Integration categories are now consistent between the app and the website, so you find apps like LaunchDarkly, RingCentral and Zoho tools under the same headings everywhere.

Fixes

Fixed Help Scout step outputs so list formatters now show every row instead of hiding entries.

Run an AI agent: give a model a task and the tools to do it

The new Run an AI agent step hands a task to the model of your choice, along with the actions and workflows it may use, and returns exactly the fields you ask for. It runs on your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini or other model account, and every move it makes is on the record.

Tools from your apps and your workflows

Any integration action or one of your own workflows can be a tool. Fix the inputs you don't want the model to choose, like which spreadsheet it writes to, and it decides the rest.

A result the next step can use

Fields to return hands the following steps a structured result instead of a wall of text, so a workflow can act on exactly what the agent found.

It reads your files

The agent reads PDFs and images, up to 10 files at a time, whether they're uploaded, linked or handed over by an earlier step.

Every move on the record

The run shows the model used, the tokens spent and every tool call, so you can see exactly how the agent reached its answer.

Built to finish the job

A fallback model, a turn limit and an optional memory across runs keep longer tasks on track. Choose from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Mistral AI, DeepSeek, Groq and six more providers.

Improvements

Run an AI agent sits in the step picker's Advanced section, beside Code, HTTP and Workflows.

24 Zoho apps join Lodol

From Zoho Books and Desk to Recruit, Sign and WorkDrive, two dozen Zoho apps can now be part of a workflow. They sit together under Zoho in App Families on the Integrations page.

New integrations

Zoho Books, Invoice, Billing and Inventory: contacts, invoices, estimates, subscriptions, payments, stock and purchase orders.

Zoho Desk and TeamInbox: tickets, conversations and shared inboxes.

Zoho Recruit and People: candidates, interviews, leave and HR records.

Zoho Projects, Sprints and Creator: projects, tasks, sprints and the custom apps you've built.

Zoho Sign, Writer, Sheet, WorkDrive and Notebook: signatures, documents, mail merge, spreadsheets and files.

Zoho Mail, Calendar, Bookings and ZeptoMail: email, calendars, appointments and transactional email.

Zoho Analytics, PageSense, Backstage and Connect: reports, A/B tests, events and team networks.

Improvements

Workflows can now be deleted through the Developer API and by AI tools on Connect AI, but only with the new Delete workflows permission, which stays off until you turn it on. AI tools ask you to confirm first.

The Runs page now lists runs started by triggers alongside the rest, so a failed one is never out of sight. Untick Show triggered runs to hide them.

The run-failed email now quotes the error, and its button opens the run that failed.

Every date and time in the app now follows the time zone in your Preferences, and emails name the time zone they're written in.

The Runs page says how long finished runs are kept: 30 days on Free and 18 months on paid plans. Builder and Pro workspaces can choose a shorter time under Run history in Settings.

A step that returns a long list now shows every entry in the run, not just the first few.

Changing how often a schedule runs now takes effect straight away, instead of after its next run.

Fixes

Fixed a secret inside a failed request's web address appearing in the step's error. It's masked there now, and in the run-failed email.

Fixed schedules restarting their count whenever Lodol was updated, so every three days now means every three days.

Fixed some scheduled workflows on a busy server waiting indefinitely instead of running.

When an app has more than one connection, every step and trigger now has a Connection field, so one workflow can read from your own inbox and post from the team's account. And Lodol now tells you the moment a connection needs signing in again, before a run fails.

New integrations

ConvertAPI PDF Tools: convert to and from PDF, merge, split, compress, watermark and read scanned pages.

Filestack, Uploadcare, Zamzar and online-convert.com: convert, resize and compress files and images, and capture web pages.

Upload to URL: put a file online and get a public link to it.

Nanonets: pull the data out of invoices, receipts and other documents, and review what it found.

CAMB.AI: speech, translation, transcription, subtitles and video dubbing.

Pastefy: create, read and search pastes, encrypted ones included.

Improvements

Make my default sets which connection your own steps use without changing anyone else's, and admins can set the workspace default.

A connection whose sign-in stops working is flagged everywhere: a banner, a count beside Integrations in the sidebar, and a Reconnect button that goes straight back to the app's sign-in.

App steps now retry on their own when an app is briefly unreachable, slow or busy. Integration retries in Settings sets how many times and how long to wait.

Removing a connection lists the workflows that use it, and each run shows which connection every step used.

A new Outlook email trigger starts a run for each new email in a folder, optionally only from one sender or domain.

Gmail, Outlook and Rackspace Email drafts can now reply inside the original conversation.

Fixes

Fixed adding a second account to an app replacing the first account's sign-in.

Fixed Reconnect on a workspace connection reconnecting your personal one instead.

Send a prompt to an OpenAI model now offers the GPT-6 models, and OpenRouter, Cohere and Mistral AI each gain a full set of actions, from reading documents to transcribing audio.

New integrations

Paystack, Polar and Recurly: payment links, checkouts, invoices, subscriptions and customers.

VirusTotal: scan files and links, and get one verdict on any file, URL, domain or IP address.

Shodan, URLhaus and IPQualityScore: look up hosts and malware links, and score IP addresses, emails and transactions for fraud.

Spoonacular: recipes, nutrition, meal plans and wine pairings.

Improvements

Three new templates: find the rows in a spreadsheet that match a value, forward emails that mention a keyword, and log every line of a purchase order from Gmail to a sheet.

Fixes

Fixed emailed links, such as password resets, invites and approval decisions, that Chrome sometimes refused to open.

Pay per run, with unlimited seats on every plan

Every plan now includes a monthly allowance of runs, and a run counts once however many steps it takes. Seats are unlimited everywhere, and the new Usage page shows exactly where your runs go.

New integrations

API-SPORTS: 12 sports data services, from football, basketball and the NFL to Formula 1, hockey and rugby, with fixtures, live scores, standings and odds.

Amazon DynamoDB: read, write and query items and manage tables.

Crisp and Productboard: customer conversations, and product feedback turned into notes and features.

finlight and ExchangeRate-API: financial news and its sentiment, and currency conversion.

Improvements

Free includes 200 runs a month. Builder starts at $18 a month for 2,500 runs and Pro at $120 for 10,000, with up to 3, 10 and 40 workflows running at once.

Usage, under Manage in the sidebar, shows this month's runs with a forecast for the rest of the month, a bar for every day and the workflows that used the most, with the 12 months before it a click away.

Builder and Pro workspaces can turn on Extra runs in Billing to keep workflows running past the month's allowance, up to a spending limit they choose.

The workspace owner gets an email at 80 percent of the month's runs and again if they run out, and a banner says when workflows are paused and when they'll start again.

Every new workflow now starts private, on every plan, Free included, and anyone who can edit it can share it.

A new Viewer role, on every plan, can see workflows, runs, apps and documents and comment on workflows, without changing or running anything.

Billing has a billing contact, so invoices and receipts can go straight to your finance team, and checkout takes your business's tax ID.

status.lodol.com shows whether the app, workflow runs, the Developer API and AI tool connections are working right now, with 90 days of history. Service Status in the account menu opens it.

Fixes

Fixed a cancelled plan or an ended trial making every workflow in the workspace public.

Fixed the step picker freezing while it loaded the integration catalog, which now loads in a fraction of the time.

Build workflows with Claude, ChatGPT and the AI tools you already use

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex or any AI tool that supports MCP, ask for an automation in plain words, and your AI builds it right in your workspace. From then on Lodol runs it, on a schedule or the moment something happens, whether or not your AI tool is still open.

Connected in a minute

Connect AI, right under Workflows in the sidebar, has the one step each tool needs: a click for Claude, Cursor and VS Code, a single command for Claude Code and Codex, and one web address for ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, Devin, Lovable, Replit and anything else that speaks MCP. You sign in with your Lodol account, so there's no key to copy, and someone without an account can make one on the spot and land straight back in their AI tool.

Your AI works within your rules

When you connect, you choose the workspace and untick any permission you'd rather it didn't have, and it can never do more than your own role allows. It can find, explain, build, change and run workflows, and read how a run went. Connecting apps and managing members, billing and secrets stay with people.

Your keys never pass through the chat

Apps are connected in Lodol itself and workflows use keys by name, so your AI builds with the name while the value never appears in the conversation.

Every change on the record

What your AI changes goes into the workflow's version history like anyone else's edit, so you can see exactly what changed and roll it back in a click. When a run fails, your AI can read the same run you do, work out what went wrong and fix it.

Checked as it builds

AI tools build from Lodol's own guide to how workflows work, and Lodol checks what they make. Anything you still need to fill in, like which spreadsheet a trigger should watch, is listed for you before the workflow goes live.

Improvements

New Pluck and Group by steps pull one field out of every record in a list, and gather the records that share a value, ready to count or total.

Totals, averages and comparisons now read numbers stored as text, so a spreadsheet's 1200 counts as more than 500.

Add time can now count working days, and Date difference can count whole months and years.

Fixes

Fixed workflow IDs in the Developer API that stopped working after the workflow was next edited.

A finished run now has Run again in its header, which starts the workflow's latest version on the spot. Handy once you've fixed whatever stopped it.

New integrations

Amazon EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Secrets Manager and AppConfig: run instances and databases, read metrics and logs, clear cached files and manage configuration.

Microsoft Entra ID: onboard and offboard people, reset passwords and manage groups in your directory.

Harvest: log time, keep projects and clients in step, and raise invoices and expenses.

Remote: people, time off and expenses for teams employed around the world.

Hex and Snyk: run Hex projects and edit their cells, and manage dependency and code scanning.

World Bank Open Data and World Bank Projects & Operations: development indicators and country profiles, and the bank's projects and lending.

Also new: Amazon Polly for lifelike speech, Microlink, Image-Charts, Google Favicons, is.gd and FilterLists.

Improvements

Click a step in the editor's test run and the canvas takes you to it, opening any loop or branch it's folded inside.

Amazon's apps now have their own family on the Integrations page, beside Google and Microsoft.

Fixes

Fixed PokéAPI, Open Library, Open Food Facts and Chess.com lookups that failed on names with punctuation, ISBNs with leading zeros and similar everyday inputs.

The apps most businesses run on now go almost as far in a workflow as they do by hand. Outlook grows from 1 action to 54, Excel from 9 to 58 and Slack to 79, and QuickBooks Online arrives with 79 actions and 7 triggers.

Outlook

Reply, forward, file and categorize mail, set inbox rules and automatic replies, and manage events, invitations, free and busy times and contacts.

Excel

Work with tables, sorting and filters, formulas and number formats, charts you can export as images, and every pivot table in a workbook.

QuickBooks Online

Invoices, estimates, bills, expenses, payments and journal entries, plus the reports finance checks every week, with triggers for new customers, vendors, invoices, payments, bills and estimates, and paid invoices. One connection can serve the whole workspace.

Slack

Send scheduled and private messages, work with files, pins, bookmarks, user groups, canvases and Lists, and start your own Slack workflows.

Connected in a click

Excel, OneNote, Teams and To Do, Canva and X connect with a hosted sign-in: register the address Lodol shows you, click Connect, and you're done.

New integrations

Mercury: accounts, transactions, cards, payments, invoices and statements, with a trigger for every new transaction.

Intercom: contacts, companies, tickets and conversations, and replies as a teammate.

Plaid: bank, card and investment accounts, balances, transactions and holdings.

Firecrawl and Linkup: turn websites into clean, AI-ready text, and search the web for answers with sources.

Daily and Whereby: create video rooms and fetch recordings and transcripts.

Cerebras and Fireworks AI: fast open models for replies, extraction and classification.

Also new: Insightly, People Data Labs, Verifalia, Mailcheck, Numverify, AltText.ai, Daytona, Jentic, Scalar, Pwned Passwords, Ensembl and more.

Improvements

Discord grows to 66 actions and 8 triggers, across messages, threads, channels, roles, members and scheduled events.

Google Sheets now saves what a workflow writes as if you'd typed it, so numbers stay numbers and dates stay dates, and the new Update row changes only the cells you name.

Fixes

Fixed Slack searches and channel reads that stopped after the first page, and Google Sheets Write row failing on rows wider than column Z.

The sidebar now groups everything under Build and Run and Manage, and Billing, Secrets and Values and API Keys each have a page of their own. A secret or value can now be shared with every workflow or only the ones you name.

New integrations

Unipile (beta): LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram and Telegram messages, LinkedIn outreach and search, and posts, email and calendars, through one account.

Customer.io: people, events, segments and the messages your automations send.

OpenHands: hand coding work to an open-source AI software engineer.

Improvements

Secrets and Values lists workspace and workflow items in one table, with a Used by column showing which workflows can reach each one.

Deleting a workflow now leaves the secrets and values it used in place for the workflows that still need them.

Billing shows your plan beside the others, and members who can't change it see who to ask.

API Keys shows a ready-to-run example request, the first characters of each key so similar ones are easy to tell apart, and how many keys you have left.

The step picker now gathers Code, HTTP and Workflows into one Advanced section.

Datadog leaves beta with 20 actions, from events and metrics to monitors and downtimes.

Let a workflow make a judgment call

Set a condition to Use judgment and finish This is true when… in plain words, like the sender wants to buy something. Lodol decides it by reading and tells you how sure it is, and only that one decision involves AI.

New integrations

Browserbase, Scrapeless and ScrapeGraphAI: read pages in a real cloud browser, get past sites that block ordinary requests, and turn any page into data.

Zep: long-term memory of people and past conversations, for AI steps to draw on.

Hume AI: read any text aloud in a library voice, or design a new voice by describing it.

Shippo: print shipping labels and follow the parcel.

Knock and GoTo Webinar: send the notifications you designed in Knock, and run webinars and their registrations.

Also new: AgentQL, Supadata, Grist, Google Safe Browsing, Pushinator and TypeSafe.

Improvements

Turn on Let this condition answer Not sure, and the borderline cases take their own path, to a person or a review label. The lines start at yes above 70 percent and no below 30, and you can move them.

Use judgment works on If / Else, Repeat while and Filter list, which reads up to 1,000 items one at a time and keeps the ones that match.

Every run records the answer and how likely it was, like yes at 87 percent. A question that can't be answered fails the step instead of guessing, so Try / Catch can handle it.

A judged condition sees only the run's own values, never your secrets, and costs nothing extra: it runs on Lodol's account, with no key to set up.

Apps: put your workflows behind a screen your team can use

Build simple screens on top of your workflows, without code: charts and numbers from what they produce, tables your team can work through, forms that hand a request to the right workflow, and buttons that run one.

Built from widgets

Choose Create, then New App, and drag widgets onto the grid: bar, line and donut charts, single numbers and progress meters, tables, lists and a notes timeline, text, panels and filters, and fields, forms and run buttons. An app can hold up to 50 widgets across 12 screens, and clicking a row can open a screen of its own for that record.

Data straight from your workflows

A widget can show a value your workflows keep up to date, or ask a workflow directly as the screen loads, so anything a workflow can reach, from your CRM to your books, can be on screen. Filter, sort, group and total it without writing anything, and refresh it on demand or every 1, 5 or 15 minutes.

A button anyone can press

A run button starts a workflow for the person who needs it done, asking for any details first and offering a link to watch the run. Fields, forms and notes hand what people type to the workflow you choose, and every save is recorded as a run.

Screens that look like yours

Give an app your brand's color, font and corner style, and a light or dark look. Tables have a records layout made for lists of people, jobs or orders, with status pills and marks that show what's on file at a glance.

Shared safely

Everyone in the workspace can open your apps, and people who can edit workflows can build them. Nothing fires while you're editing, every app keeps a version history, and owners and admins can publish a read-only link for people outside the workspace.

New integrations

Google BigQuery: run queries, save results to a table, and browse and add rows.

Freshservice: raise, update and reply to IT tickets.

Neon: create projects, and branch or reset a Postgres database for a preview or a test run.

AssemblyAI and Murf AI: turn recordings into text in 99 languages, and text into lifelike voice-overs.

Bright Data, Airtop and WebScraping.AI: get structured data out of websites, and drive a real browser in plain words.

Also new: Drupal, GLEIF, Pdfcrowd, Buttondown, Deftform, Open Targets and the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Improvements

Drag a box across the Workflows list to select apps and documents along with workflows and folders, and move or delete them together.

Pipedrive leaves beta with 20 actions across people, organizations, deals and activities, and Open-Meteo grows to 18.

Fixes

Fixed Workable, which appeared in the directory but couldn't be connected.

Lodol's templates are open to everyone: 161 ready-made workflows across 17 job functions, written and tested by our team. Each has its own page at lodol.com/workflows that shows every step before you add it.

A page for every workflow

Search by task or app, or browse by job function, from sales and support to finance, HR and IT. Each page shows the apps a workflow connects, what starts it and every step it takes, and what to set up before the first run.

Add to workspace, and it runs

Add to Workspace copies the workflow into your workspace and opens it in the editor. Connect the apps it uses, a one-time setup for each, and it's running. From there it's yours to change: swap an app, move the schedule, add a step.

Built not to guess

Every template is held to the same rules and run against real data before it's published. Nothing happens twice, a failure never looks like a quiet day, a blank never overwrites your data, and replies in your name wait for you.

Templates wherever you start

Templates in the sidebar, and Browse Templates in the Create menu and the editor, open the full collection in a new tab. A new workspace now asks what you work on and offers starter workflows to match, filed in a folder for each job.

New integrations

Snowflake: run SQL against your warehouse and manage its tables.

Meta Ads: build and manage campaigns, ad sets and ads, and read how they're delivering.

Jira Service Management: service desks, queues, requests, comments and SLAs.

Okta and Keycloak: the joiner, mover and leaver lifecycle, groups and sign-in records.

Grafana: dashboards, folders and annotations, and alert state and rules.

Also new: Discourse, Transport for London, the National Weather Service, Eurostat, ECB Exchange Rates, EU VIES, OKX, NASA Images, Our World in Data and more.

New Stored Data Values steps keep a value from one run to the next: the last invoice number a workflow handled, the records it has already seen, or a running count that never loses an update when runs overlap.

New integrations

Salesforce: create and update leads, accounts, contacts and opportunities, and log follow-up tasks.

Shopify and WooCommerce: run your store's products, stock and orders from a workflow.

Zendesk and ServiceNow: raise, update and search tickets, incidents and change requests.

BambooHR: look people up in your employee directory and keep their records current.

Also new: Kraken and Blockchain.com for crypto market and blockchain data, and Lorem Picsum for placeholder photos.

Improvements

Get, Set, Delete and Increment a stored value, for the whole workspace or for one workflow, with a default for when nothing is stored yet.

A stored value keeps its type, so a count reads back as a number.

Workflows can change a value only if you let them, with Workflow edits in Secrets and Values, and they can never write a secret.

Xero grows from 3 actions to 20 and WordPress from 3 to 20, across invoices, quotes and contacts, and posts, pages and comments.

Fixes

Fixed a failed web request's error showing the full address it called, including any secret in it. Errors are now cleaned like every other step result.

Workflows that cope with the unexpected

A plan B for the step that fails at 2am, workflows you can call from other workflows, Python for the odd calculation and a step that reaches any app with an API. And every step can now be tested on its own.

A plan B when a step fails

Wrap steps in a Try / Catch, and if one of them fails, the steps under On error run instead of the whole run stopping. Post the alert to Slack, say, and if Slack is down, send it by email. The error is saved too, so the plan B can say what went wrong.

Workflows inside workflows

Build a piece once, like looking up a customer or formatting an invoice, and call it from any workflow with Run a workflow. Inputs and Outputs, in the editor's top bar, sets what it takes and what it hands back, and every call gets a run of its own, linked from the run that made it.

Python where you need it

For the calculation no app does, Run Python code takes values from earlier steps and hands its result to the next. It runs offline, with no internet or file access, within strict limits on time and memory.

Any app with an API

If an app isn't in Lodol yet, Call an API reaches it directly, REST or GraphQL, with any method, headers, query parameters and a body. Keys come from Secrets and Values, never the step itself, and you choose whether the workflow stops or carries on if the call fails.

Test one part at a time

Every step's menu now offers Run up to this step, Run from this step and Run only this step, so you can check a change without running the whole workflow, and without sending that email again.

New integrations

Replicate: run open models for images, video, audio and speech, and collect what they make.

Etherscan, Blockchair, Dune and DefiLlama: balances, transactions and contracts across the major blockchains, SQL over on-chain data, and DeFi markets.

USAJOBS, The Muse and Arbeitnow: job openings, from US federal roles to remote and visa-sponsored ones.

Improvements

HubSpot can now find every contact created in a date range, newest first.

The Integrations page has new Events, Notifications, Publishing & Community, Feeds & Read-Later and Jobs & Hiring categories, and Accounting is now Accounting & Finance.

GitHub can now start a workflow when a pull request, issue, push, release or review request comes in. Slack gains 12 actions and 5 triggers, from reading threads to watching for reactions.

Improvements

GitHub's seven new triggers start a workflow on a new or updated pull request or issue, a push to a branch, a new release or a review request.

GitHub can also update, label, lock and unlock issues.

Slack can now edit and delete its own messages, read a channel's history or a thread, find messages, set a channel's topic, add and remove people, and look up users.

Slack can also start a workflow when a channel is created, when someone is mentioned, when a message starts with a command word, and when a reaction is added or removed.

Turning on a workflow with one of these triggers never starts runs for what's already there, only for what's new.

Dropdowns that offer values from earlier steps now show nested fields as a tree you can open and close, just like the @ menu.

Errors from apps show code and links properly, and the links can be clicked.

Fixes

Fixed GitHub's branch, label and assignee lists stopping at 500 entries, which could hide main in a large repository.

Fixed Poll Now failing after Lodol was updated. When there's nothing to check, it now says why.

Fixed tall app logos, like Google Sheets and Docs, spilling out of their tiles.

Fixed Prospeo's Enrich person failing the whole run when Prospeo found no match. It now reports that nobody was found.

Every workflow now runs from Start to End, and an If / Else is a decision with Yes and No paths. A chain of else-ifs is now one decision with a path for each condition, instead of a staircase of nested forks.

New integrations

The Guardian: search and read articles and live blogs back to 1999.

News API, GNews and mediastack: headlines and news searches across thousands of publishers, by topic, country and language.

GDELT: news and TV coverage from around the world, and how its volume and tone change over time.

Also new: Hacker News and Spaceflight News.

Improvements

Else if under any decision adds another condition, and Otherwise catches everything else. Existing workflows redraw on their own.

The run log marks where Otherwise begins, so it never looks as if the last condition matched.

Email and message steps, like Gmail and Pushover, show their subject and body right on the canvas, and an empty field reads (not set).

Run at time, Wait until and Time until date now have a calendar and a clock to pick from, with a switch to use a value from an earlier step instead.

Every process has a page of notes somewhere. Now it can live in Lodol, in the same list and the same folders as the workflows that run it, with version history, a read-only link to share and export to PDF or Markdown.

In the same place as your workflows

Choose Create, then New Document. Documents sit beside your workflows and in the same folders, so the runbook for month-end close lives in the Month-end folder, right next to the workflows that do the work.

Quick to write

Headings, lists, checklists, quotes and dividers, bold, italics, links, highlights and inline code. Paste notes you already keep in Markdown and they arrive formatted, and everything saves as you type.

Earlier versions, side by side

Compare any earlier version with the current one and choose Restore This Version to bring it back. Restoring adds a new version rather than erasing the ones after it, so even a restore can be undone.

Share it without sharing your workspace

Share turns on a link anyone can read but not edit, and they won't see anything else in your workspace. The link always shows the latest version, and Make Private turns it off whenever you like.

Take it anywhere

Export saves a document as a PDF or as Markdown, and Duplicate makes a copy in the same folder.

New integrations

Google Slides: build and edit presentations, slide by slide.

Google Classroom: courses, rosters, announcements, assignments and grades.

PubMed, OpenAlex, Crossref and Semantic Scholar: search research papers and their authors, follow citations, and match references to DOIs.

Internet Archive and the Wayback Machine: search, read and upload to the archive, and check, list and compare saved copies of any page.

Also new: Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikiquote, Gutendex, Smithsonian Open Access and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Improvements

Documents are on every plan, and the people who can edit your workflows can edit your documents.

Drag any step to a new place on the canvas, or select several and move them together. And fold away the loops and branches you're not working on.

New integrations

Avoma and tl;dv: find meetings, read transcripts and pull AI meeting notes.

Pushover: push notifications to your phone, with priorities, sounds and alerts that repeat until someone acknowledges them.

UptimeRobot: create, pause and resume uptime monitors.

Improvements

Shift-click selects a range of steps, and Shift-drag draws a box around them.

Lodol won't drop a step where it would use a value before that value exists, and tells you why.

Fold a loop or a branch down to one card that says how many steps it hides. Lodol remembers what you folded, and opens a fold on its own when you add a step inside it.

Store an API key once, encrypted and hidden the moment you save it, and let any step use it by name. Settings like an approval limit live beside it, so changing one updates every workflow that uses it.

Secrets, stored once and never shown again

Add an API key or a token and it's encrypted as you save it. Nobody sees the value again, admins included. Steps use it by name, as @secrets.STRIPE_KEY, and get the real value only at the moment they run.

Values everyone can read

The spending limit above which a manager has to approve, the Slack channel alerts go to, the address a report is sent to: these are Values. They stay readable, and steps use them by name too, as @values.APPROVAL_LIMIT.

Change it once, and every workflow follows

Replace an expiring key, or raise the approval limit from $500 to $1,000, in one place, and every workflow that uses it picks up the change on its next run.

Hidden wherever it could show up

Secret values are kept in Google Cloud's Secret Manager, not in Lodol's own database. If a step's result ever contains one, Lodol replaces it with *** in the run, in step results and in error messages.

For the whole workspace, or one workflow

Owners and admins manage the workspace's secrets and values, and custom roles can be given the new Manage stored secrets and Manage stored values permissions. A workflow's own, set from the key icon in the editor, can be managed by anyone who can edit it, and take precedence over workspace ones with the same name.

New integrations

NVD, CISA KEV and MITRE ATT&CK: look up vulnerabilities and their scores, check them against those known to be exploited, and browse attacker techniques.

SSL Labs, Mozilla HTTP Observatory and Certificate Transparency: grade a site's TLS and security headers, and list every certificate issued for a domain.

RDAP, ip-api.com and IPWHOIS.io: find who owns a domain or an IP address, and where an address is.

Also new: Google PageSpeed Insights and Website Carbon.

Preferences now has a high-contrast option that deepens text, borders and status colors, and a dyslexia-friendly font, Atkinson Hyperlegible, for the whole app.

New integrations

npm, PyPI, crates.io, RubyGems, Packagist, Maven Central and Homebrew: versions, dependencies, maintainers and downloads for the packages you rely on.

deps.dev: dependencies, security advisories and OpenSSF Scorecards for open-source packages.

Docker Hub: repositories and tags, and whether an image exists.

Stack Exchange: search and read questions and answers across Stack Overflow and 180 more sites.

Also new: PyPI Stats.

Improvements

Contrast follows your device by default, so if you've turned up contrast on your computer, Lodol does too.

The font applies everywhere, sign-in included, and both choices follow you to every device.

Text and status colors now meet WCAG AA contrast in light and dark, with every accent color, and Lodol looks right in Windows' high contrast mode.

Pro and Enterprise workspaces can now sign people in through their identity provider, add and remove members automatically, and set the rules everyone in the workspace works under. And every account, on every plan, can now protect itself with an authenticator app.

SAML single sign-on

Verify your company's email domain, connect Okta, Microsoft Entra or any other SAML identity provider from its metadata, and people sign in with Continue with SSO. Turn on Require SAML single sign-on and members can only come in through your provider. The owner always can, so an expiring certificate never locks the workspace out, and Lodol warns you before it expires.

SCIM provisioning, with roles from your groups

Your identity provider now adds people to the workspace when they join and removes them when they leave. Map its groups to roles, first match wins, and each person's role follows their group from then on. SCIM tokens belong to the workspace, so they keep working after whoever created them moves on.

Workspace security policies

Security settings now set the rules for everyone: require two-factor authentication, and which kind; accept new members only from your company's email domains; allow access only from the IP addresses you list, API keys included; and sign people out after a stretch of inactivity. Lodol won't save an allowlist that would shut you out.

Audit log streaming

Send every audit log entry to Datadog, Splunk, Sentry or any HTTPS endpoint within seconds and in order, with up to three streams per workspace. Each stream shows when it last delivered, and what the destination said when it couldn't.

Authenticator apps and recovery codes, for everyone

Two-factor authentication now works with any authenticator app as well as emailed codes, on every plan. Turning it on gives you 10 single-use recovery codes.

New integrations

SAP S/4HANA: business partners, customers, suppliers, purchase and sales orders, and deliveries.

RingCentral: presence, call logs, click-to-call, voicemail, fax and team messaging.

LaunchDarkly: turn feature flags on and off, and manage segments, projects and environments.

RabbitMQ: publish and read messages, and manage queues, exchanges and bindings.

Statuspage: check the public status page of 79 well-known services, or any other Statuspage or incident.io page, before a workflow leans on them.

Also new: Blockscout and Alchemy for reading more than 100 blockchains, and Data Dragon, TCGdex, RuneScape, MapleStory.IO, Hyrule Compendium, AmiiboAPI, Barter.vg and Imgflip for game data and memes.

Fixes

Fixed the Gmail new-email trigger skipping emails that arrived in the same minute. Every new email now starts its own run, and accented names and subjects read correctly.

Fixed Google Sheets tabs with names like Q3 or FY24 being read as a cell on the first tab.

Fixed a workspace you'd been added to, removed from or given a new role in not updating until you signed out and back in.

Move to folder works for one workflow or many.

Drag across the page to select workflows and folders together, then move or delete them in one go.

Deleting a folder deletes everything in it, and the confirmation says exactly what will go.

In one week Lodol added 94 apps, from AI models and form builders to databases, payment tools and email platforms, and the Integrations page was rebuilt to make the right one easy to find and connect.

AI models and agents

Ask Mistral AI, Cohere, Groq or any model on Hugging Face, give a workflow a voice with ElevenLabs, and hand web tasks and research to Browser Use, Manus, Parallel AI and Jina AI.

Forms and surveys

Act on every response from Google Forms, Typeform, Jotform, SurveyMonkey and Tally.

Email, sales and outreach

Grow lists and send campaigns with Klaviyo, Kit, MailerLite, Loops, lemlist and Resend, and find and check contacts with Clay, Hunter, Prospeo, Icypeas and MillionVerifier.

Developer and data tools

Work with Sentry, Confluence, Figma, GitLab, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse, Upstash, Algolia and Databricks.

Payments and commerce

Take payments and track subscriptions with Square, Braintree, Chargebee and RevenueCat, and follow sales, members and parcels on Gumroad, Wix, Patreon and AfterShip.

Find the right app faster

Search the Integrations page by what an app does, so Claude finds Anthropic and Email finds Gmail. Apps that need no account install in one click, and every app has a public page at lodol.com/integrations listing all it can do.

New integrations

PandaDoc: create documents from templates, send them and track their status.

Stability AI: generate, upscale and edit images, and generate music.

Serper and Tavily: Google and web search results, ready for the next step.

Google Tasks and Google Groups: task lists, and groups and their members.

Bluesky: post, and read profiles, posts and search results.

Also new: CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, Wikipedia, arXiv, the New York Times, Open Library, Open Food Facts, PokéAPI, Chess.com, Merriam-Webster, Oxford Dictionaries, AccuWeather, OpenWeatherMap, Frankfurter, countries.dev, Substack, Obsidian, Steam, Greenhouse, Fathom, Fireflies.ai, Loom, Cisco Webex, Retell AI, Browse AI, Browserless, Reducto, Extend, CloudConvert, Shutterstock, Unsplash, Brandfetch, Sixtyfour, ZeroBounce, Mailgun, Vimeo, Globalping, ipify, Shields.io, DuckDuckGo, College ROI, the World Bank's Documents & Reports, Rick and Morty and Pokéfacts.

Improvements

GitHub is rebuilt around branches, issues, comments and pull requests, Spotify grows to 10 actions, and Exa can now answer a question with its sources.

Zoom can start a workflow when a meeting is created, Twitch when a channel goes live, and Google Meet can list, get and cancel meetings.

Google Translate detects the language for you.

Google apps, Spotify, Twitch and DocuSign now connect in your browser with a Connect button, instead of tokens copied by hand.

On a narrow screen the sidebar becomes a drawer behind a menu button, page headers stack neatly and wide tables scroll sideways, so you can check on a run from anywhere.

Improvements

A new typeface and refreshed sidebar, cards and menus across the app.

Moving between Workflows, Runs, the Audit Log, Members and Integrations is instant: Lodol loads them in the background and keeps them fresh.

In the Developer API, a request that failed can be retried with the same Idempotency-Key, and reusing a key for a different request is refused with a clear error.

Runs read through the Developer API now include when they were created.

The editor now saves as you go, with no button to remember, and Run tests the workflow in a panel beside the canvas, step by step, without leaving the editor.

Saves as you go

Every change saves a moment after you make it, and the top bar says Saving, Saved or, if something goes wrong, Couldn't save with a Retry button. New workflows start as Untitled workflow, so nothing is lost before you name it.

Test runs beside the canvas

Run saves your latest changes and starts a run in a panel next to the canvas, with each step appearing as it finishes. Close the panel and the run keeps going, or open the full run page for every detail.

Version history in the editor

Version history now sits in the editor's top bar, and changes made close together share one version, so the history stays readable however often Lodol saves.

Safe when something breaks

If a workflow can't load, the editor says so and offers Retry, instead of opening a blank canvas that could overwrite your work.

Email notifications now arrive for the events you choose, with a link straight to what happened, alongside the notifications you see in Lodol.

Improvements

Choose, event by event, what reaches you in the app and by email: invitations, role changes, a run finishing or failing, and being mentioned in a comment.

Notification History in Settings keeps every notification, with Mark All as Read, Delete Selected and Delete All.

Clicking a notification takes you there: a mention opens the comment, and a team change opens the right page.

Workspace owners get an email for billing changes, from a new subscription to a failed payment.

Fixes

Fixed saving notification preferences failing for some people, who then received no notifications at all.

Lodol now keeps you on top of everything it runs: what's in flight right now, a way to stop it all at once, an email the moment a run fails, and a history that shows exactly what ran.

What's running, from any page

A badge beside Runs in the sidebar counts the runs going right now, so you always know what's in flight.

Stop everything at once

When several things go wrong together, Stop All Running halts every run in progress. Deleting a workflow stops its triggers and any runs it has going, and stopping a run that's waiting takes effect straight away.

Failures that never go quiet

When a run fails, Lodol emails you and puts a notice in the app, and that email is on from the start. A failed app step now stops the run and shows the app's error, instead of carrying on as if nothing happened.

Triggers that never miss a beat

Triggers keep watching through updates and busy afternoons, handing over to another server in moments, so one event is always one run.

History you can trust

A past run shows the version of the workflow that actually ran, even after the workflow has been edited or deleted.

A big batch of built-in steps: Filter list and Shuffle list, Format number, Extract from text, Add or subtract time, Difference between dates, Generate a unique ID, and Stop workflow and Repeat N times for control.

Improvements

Filter list keeps the items that match a condition you build the same way as an If / Else.

Extract from text pulls out email addresses, web addresses, numbers or a pattern of your own, and reads both 1,234.56 and 1.234,56 as numbers.

Format number shows plain numbers, thousands separators or currency, like $1,234.50.

Stop workflow ends a run early as a success or a failure, with a message, and Repeat N times runs steps a set number of times.

Get first item, Get last item and a sort direction join the list steps, and Calculate remainder and Calculate exponent join the math steps.

Make date readable has ready-made formats, and Today, Tomorrow and Yesterday can use any time zone. Date steps now use the workflow owner's time zone.

Replace text and the checks on how text starts, ends or what it includes can ignore case.

Fixes

Fixed Format text's title case lowercasing the rest of a word, so NASA stays NASA.

Fixed 1 and 1.0 being treated as different values in comparisons and list steps.

Fixed plain dates showing as the day before for people west of UTC.

Every workflow now shows a preview of its diagram and opens straight into the editor, and you can narrow the list to the workflows you've starred or that a teammate made.

Improvements

Drag across the page to select several workflows, then copy them to another workspace, download them as one ZIP file, or delete them.

Switch between a grid of cards and a compact list showing each workflow's owner and last change.

Duplicate is instant, with no dialog in the way.

Workflow cards open with Enter or Space, for anyone using a keyboard.

OpenAI, Anthropic and Gemini steps let you pick the model from a list, and Claude's replies can now run to 128,000 tokens.

Fixes

Fixed actions in ActiveCampaign, Apollo, Baserow, Brevo, DocuSign, Mailchimp, Monday.com, PDF.co, Supabase, Twilio and more that had drifted from their apps' current APIs.

Pins stay the same size as you zoom and show who's in the thread.

Mention a teammate

Type @ to mention someone, and they get a notification that opens straight to the comment.

Threads you can close

Reply in the thread, resolve it when it's settled, and bring resolved threads back whenever you need them.

Every thread in one panel

The comments panel lists every thread, newest or oldest first, with a filter for your own, and choosing one takes you to its pin.

Comments that keep up

Threads carry through every save and rollback, and you can drag your own pins to a better spot.

Every action and setting in every integration now has a name and description written for people, not programmers.

Give any step's result a name you'll recognize, or keep the readable one Lodol picks, and rename it later without breaking the steps that use it.

Improvements

What a trigger found is saved under a name too, with its fields ready to pick, like the subject of a new email.

Text fields can mix your own words with several values, like Hi @first_name, and every value is filled in when the step runs.

The @ menu shows nested fields as a tree, and only offers values that will exist at that point in the workflow.

Set a value as Auto, Text or Number, and Auto shows the type it worked out.

Schedules now run at your local time, in any time zone, and repeat the way a calendar does: every weekday, the first Monday of the month, or every two weeks until a date you choose.

Your time zone, not UTC

A schedule runs at your local time, using your account's time zone unless you choose another, and daylight saving is handled for you.

Repeats like a calendar

Repeat daily, weekly on the days you pick, or monthly on a date or a weekday like the last Friday, every so many days, weeks or months.

A clean finish

End a schedule on a date or after a set number of runs, and it stops cleanly when it's done.

Reads like a sentence

The canvas shows each schedule in plain English, so anyone can see when a workflow will run.

Workflows outlive whoever built them. Lodol now keeps every version, shows who's looking at a workflow right now, and lets you copy a workflow into any workspace you belong to.

Every save is a version

Each save keeps a new version with who made it and when. Compare any version with the current one, line by line, and roll back in one click. A rollback is a new version too, so nothing is ever lost.

See who's here

Avatars show which teammates have a workflow open right now, so two people never edit blind.

Copy to another workspace

Copy to Workspace puts a copy of a workflow in any other workspace you belong to, and the copy is recorded in both workspaces' audit logs.

A record of what changed hands

Transferring ownership asks for your password first, and every rollback is recorded in the Audit Log.

Share Preview creates a link anyone can open to see a workflow's name, description and diagram, without seeing anything else in your workspace. Make it private again whenever you like.

New integrations

Apollo: enrich people and companies, search for prospects, and keep contacts and accounts up to date.

Improvements

Anyone with a Lodol account can press Try Out on a shared workflow to copy it into their own workspace.

Uploading a workflow file that isn't valid now says what's wrong instead of failing later.

Request approval: ask a person before a workflow goes on

The new Request approval step pauses a workflow until the right person approves, rejects or replies, from Lodol, their inbox or Slack. Everything waiting on you is on the new Approvals page in the sidebar.

The right person, every time

Choose who to ask, who may answer and how long they have, and what happens if nobody does: treat it as approved or rejected, stop, or carry on. Require a different approver keeps anyone from approving their own request.

Answer from anywhere

People outside your workspace answer from a link in their email, with no account needed, and a request can also be posted to a Slack channel.

Never left waiting

Reminders and escalation chase a decision that's taking too long, and a run waiting on a person doesn't count against the runs your workspace can have going at once.

A reply, not just a yes

Ask for a written reply instead of a decision, and later steps get the reply along with who wrote it and when.

Decisions the workflow can use

The decision, any comment, who decided and when are handed to the steps that follow, so a workflow can branch on them, and every decision is recorded in the audit log.

Tick Stay signed in and Lodol keeps you signed in for 30 days, through browser restarts. Account & Security lists every device signed in to your account, and you can sign any of them out from wherever you are.

Stay signed in

Tick Stay signed in and Lodol keeps you signed in for 30 days, whether you use Google or a password. Leave Lodol open with no activity for an hour and it signs you out, so an unattended screen stays safe.

Every device, in one list

Signed-in Devices shows the device you're on apart from the others, with when each was last active, so one you don't recognize stands out.

Sign out from anywhere

Sign out of any one device, or all of them with Sign Out Everywhere. A lost laptop is signed out in a click.

A browser you trust is remembered

After a correct sign-in code, Lodol remembers the browser for 30 days, so the laptop you use every day doesn't ask each time.

No guessing your way in

Five wrong sign-in codes in a row lock the account for 30 minutes, repeated wrong passwords lock it for a while, and signing in never reveals whether an account exists.

Improvements

Changing your password now signs you out on every other device.

Sign-in messages are clearer: a locked account says to try again later, an unverified one offers to resend the email, and an expired link says so on a page of its own.

Emails from Lodol have a fresh design that reads well in dark mode too.

Fixes

Fixed people with two-step sign-in landing on Workflows instead of the link they had opened.

A run's page now shows the path the run really took: every pass through a loop, the branch each decision followed, and what each step was given and handed back.

Only the steps that ran

Each pass through a loop appears as its own step, and the branch a decision didn't take is left out, for live runs and past ones alike.

Results worth reading

Results are formatted with syntax highlighting, links you can click and files shown by name and size. Long results fold away, and every result has a Copy button.

Everything a step was given

Open a step to see the settings its sentence leaves out, like an email's body, CC and BCC.

Loops and branches you can follow

Loops are drawn with an arrow that circles back to the top, nested decisions are drawn properly, and you can now add steps inside a loop right in the editor.

Your own software can now run Lodol workflows. With an API key, list the workflows in a workspace, start a run, follow it while it works, and stop it if you need to.

Keys with just the access they need

Create keys on the API Keys page and give each one only the scopes it needs: reading workflows, running them, or reading runs. A key is shown once and stored only as a hash, and revoking it ends its access straight away.

Start a run, then follow it

Starting a run returns its ID at once, so long workflows never hold a connection open. Read the run whenever you like, with each step's results if you want them, or stop it.

Retries that never run twice

Send an Idempotency-Key with a run or stop request, and Lodol does the work once however many times the request arrives, for 24 hours.

Limits you can see

Every response carries your remaining requests and when they reset, and a request over the limit says exactly how long to wait.

Every step in a run now shows how long it took, and the step that's running has a timer counting up beside it, so a slow run looks different from a stuck one.

Improvements

Each step shows whether it's running, done or failed as the run goes, and the page follows the active step.

Running a workflow opens its run in the same tab.

Lodol now saves a run's place after every step. If a server restarts in the middle of a run, another one picks it up from the last finished step, so the run carries on instead of failing or starting over.

A saved place after every step

As each step finishes, the run's position and everything it knows so far are saved.

Picked up, not restarted

If the server running it goes away, the run resumes on another server after the last step it finished, so a payment already sent or a row already written isn't done twice.

Waiting runs wait

A run waiting on a trigger is left to wake when its event arrives, rather than being restarted early.

A live view that reconnects

If your connection drops while you're watching a run, the run page reconnects on its own, with no refresh needed.

Fixes

Fixed triggered workflows stopping after their first step when a step used the same name as a field from the trigger.

Adding a step now starts from one searchable picker, with Lodol's own steps and every app side by side, and every step and setting is named in plain words.

Search or browse

Search for what you want to do, or browse the built-in steps and every app, then choose an action and fill it in. A back arrow takes you up a level without losing your place.

Names that say what they do

Every built-in step and setting now has a plain-English name and description, with no programming terms to decode.

Help beside every setting

Click the question mark next to a setting to see what it expects, with examples of the format, right where you're typing.

Proper fields for structured data

A setting that takes a list or a record shows a field for each part, with Add item for lists, so there's no JSON to write by hand.

Works from the keyboard

Every choice in the picker is a real button, so you can add a step without reaching for the mouse.

A workflow can now begin with a trigger: a new email in Gmail, a new row in Google Sheets, a new payment in Stripe and more.

Setup steps now link to the exact page of each app's developer settings, with names and values set in code type, so connecting an app takes fewer wrong turns.

Improvements

YouTube results include the channel, so a step can go from a video to its channel's details.

Google Drive uploads can set the file type, and Linear's Create issue returns the new issue's state.

Fixes

Fixed Eventbrite's organization and event lists, and Linear issue actions that failed on some fields.

Fixed the Back to Workflows link being hard to read in dark mode.

Dropbox Sign and SignWell send a contract for signature from a workflow and bring back the signed copy, and DeepL translates whole documents with their formatting intact.

New integrations

Dropbox Sign and SignWell: send files or templates for e-signature, remind signers and download the signed copy.

DeepL: translate text and whole documents, and keep glossaries for your own terms.

Findymail, NeverBounce and Datagma: find and verify work emails, enrich people and companies, and spot job changes.

Product Hunt: launches, makers, comments and collections.

Improvements

App descriptions in the connect dialog now have clickable links and keep their paragraphs.

Fixes

Fixed list and multi-select fields, like SignWell's recipients, clearing themselves when a step had been open for a while.

Fixed apps whose only key is optional refusing to install without one.

Fixed long web addresses being cut off in narrow dialogs.

The editor now opens straight onto your workflow, where you can add, change and remove steps directly, with undo and redo for every edit.

Add and remove steps anywhere

Click a step to add a new one before or after it, or to delete it. An empty If / Else path has its own Add step, so filling in either side is one click.

Change settings in place

Edit a step's settings right in the editor. Lists and records get their own editors, with Add item and Add field, so the data stays valid as you type.

Undo and redo

Every change can be undone and redone, so trying something out never puts the workflow at risk.

A canvas that keeps up

The editor sets its zoom to the size of your workflow, keeps long workflows fully in view, and won't let you pan off into empty space.

Every run lands on the new Runs page, so you can always see what ran, when, and how it went.

Watch it live

The run page shows each step as it finishes, with its result, along with when the run started and finished, how long it took and who ran it.

Every run in one place

The Runs page lists every run in the workspace with its workflow, status, timing and who ran it. Search it, and open any run to see exactly what each step did.

Pause, resume or stop

Pause a run while you check something, resume it where it stopped, or stop it if something looks wrong.

Failures that say why

When a run fails, the error is recorded on the run, so you can see what went wrong without guessing.

Gmail and Google Sheets now do nearly everything you'd do by hand, from replying to and labeling email to building whole spreadsheets. And every Google step now runs as the person who connected it.

Gmail, end to end

List, find, send, draft and reply to email, add and remove labels, archive, delete and mark as read, download attachments and fetch the latest message: 14 actions in all.

Google Sheets, from rows to whole spreadsheets

Append, write, read and clear rows and columns, create, rename, clear and delete tabs, and create or delete whole spreadsheets.

Your Google account, not a teammate's

Each person's own Google connection is now used for their Google steps, so a workflow you run reads your Gmail and your calendar, not those of the first teammate who happened to connect Google.

Improvements

There's no longer a limit on how many workflows a workspace can create.

New sign-in alerts include when it happened, the device and the rough location.

Fixes

Fixed Gmail replies that were written but never sent.

Fixed Google connections that kept asking people to sign in again.

Fixed several Google Drive actions.

Fixed some Google Docs, Spotify and Yelp step descriptions showing placeholders instead of the values they use.

Workflows are now drawn as a diagram of connected steps, each under the name and icon of the app it uses, so you can follow what a workflow does at a glance, however long it gets.

Every step in its place

Steps appear as cards joined in the order they run, with the app's name and icon on each, so a Slack step looks like Slack and a Gmail step looks like Gmail.

Decisions you can see

An If / Else is drawn as a fork with a path for each answer, so it's clear what happens either way, and both paths join again below.

Pan and zoom

Drag to move around, use the mouse wheel or the zoom buttons to look closer, and reset the view to see the whole workflow again.

The same steps on the details page

A workflow's details page lists its steps with the same names and icons, so you can check what it does without opening the editor.

Every sign-in screen now has a way forward: resend a reset email, head back to sign in, or open Change your password straight from a new sign-in alert.

Improvements

The sign-in code now goes into six separate boxes, and pasting a code fills them all at once.

After requesting a password reset, you can resend the email or go back to sign in.

A new sign-in alert email opens Change your password in one click.

Fixes

Fixed a workflow's details page flickering while it loaded.

Fixed the steps list in the editor not scrolling once it grew past a certain length.

Workflows are easier to read at a glance: each step is written as a plain-English sentence, with the values it uses filled in, so anyone on the team can follow what a workflow does.

Plain-English steps

An app step reads the way you'd say it, like Send a Slack message to #sales, and built-in steps lose their symbols and brackets.

Conditions you can read aloud

An If / Else reads naturally, with is and is not instead of code-style comparisons, and checks for holidays or phone numbers say what they do.

Data at a glance

The data a step sends shows as tidy field and value pairs instead of raw JSON, with long values shortened.

Dates and links that make sense

Dates read as dates instead of timestamps, and long web addresses are shortened, with a toggle to see the full address when you need it.

Dozens of built-in steps now handle the everyday work between your apps: tidying text, doing the math, working out dates and sorting through lists. There's nothing to connect and no code to write.

Lists

Count, sort, slice and reverse a list, add, insert or remove items, find where an item is, check whether something's there, and drop the duplicates.

Text

Count characters, change case, check how text begins or ends or what it includes, replace every occurrence of a word, shorten long text, and check that text is a real email address, web address or phone number.

Numbers

Round up, down or to the nearest whole number, take an absolute value, and find the total, average, smallest, largest or most common number in a list.

Dates and times

Get the current date and time, yesterday and tomorrow, the day of the week and the time until any date, and check whether a date is a US public holiday.

Chance, pauses and output

Pick a random number or a random sample from a list, wait before the next step, and show any value in the run with Output value.

Signing in to Lodol is now quicker and safer: one click with Google, a code by email to confirm it's really you, and an alert whenever your account is used from somewhere new.

Continue with Google

Sign in with your Google account in one click. The first time, it creates your Lodol account for you, with no password to set up.

A code that proves it's you

Two-step sign-in sends a six-digit code to your email, so a password on its own is never enough to get into your account.

Alerts for new sign-ins

When your account is signed into from somewhere new, Lodol emails you straight away, so you can change your password if it wasn't you.

Stronger passwords

New passwords need upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol, and passwords from common-password lists are turned away.

Improvements

Didn't get the verification email? Resend it from the Check your email page.

Sign-up now checks that your email's domain really exists before creating your account.

Fixes

Fixed a sign-up that failed partway through leaving a half-made account behind.

Fixed accounts created with Google being impossible to delete.
